New housing development takes on Manor, starting in high $300,000s

A new housing community plans to bring a total of 358 homesites to Manor, and sales have just opened up. Tri Pointe Homes (formerly Trendmaker Homes) is behind the development, Lagos Reserve, which aims to bring resort-style amenities to the fast-growing area.Lagos Reserve will span 340 acres across all its sections, with a residential section cover 112 acres — about a third of the space. The first phase of construction will similarly include 112 homesites, with an additional 246 expected by the time the project is complete. Prices start in the high $300,000s. There are eight designs to choose from, with either one or two stories. All the layouts are open-concept, but further personalization will allow some fun changes such as kitchens designed for foodies, including oversized islands; an upstairs game room; media rooms; and covered patios. More standard options also include flex spaces, study rooms, and private guest suites. The homes will also feature sustainable design solutions that save energy and water; buyers can also add other tech solutions for security and remote controls to lights, doors, and more. A perk of living in the suburbs: big yards.Photo courtesy of Tri Pointe HomesOutside of individual homes, residents will have access to a pool, pickleball courts, fire pits, and areas to set up a picnic or play. They'll also be close to Ben Fisher Park (about 5 minutes), as well as Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park (10 minutes). Kids will live in the zone for Manor ISD.Potential buyers can browse a list of addresses under development and request a tour online.
