Shiner's Saloon faces uncertain future as building owner secures buyer

The building that houses Shiner’s Saloon is under contract for sale, and the bar’s co-owner is speaking out about what the potential demolition could mean for Austin’s character and small businesses downtown. A city commission also gave a key recommendation as a demolition request moves through City Hall.
