Data from the Temple Economic Development Corp. found there are now 11 companies, including H-E-B LP and Walmart Inc., and 7,000 people working in the space in the city of about 96,000 people. And that’s likely an undercount when considering the whole Killeen–Temple metro area that tops 500,000 people.
