Texas floods hit Cord Shiflet in many ways. Seeing the carnage and aftermath of a disaster that had drowning children yelling for their mommies and daddies was one thing. Another was the backlash of his incorrect reporting on social media of two girls allegedly found clinging to a tree over a day after the river surged.
