Ian is what a realtor should be. My wife and I have had to deal with some bad ones in the past who were disrespectful and unprofessional. But Ian made our experience an excellent one and made us feel at ease.

When we were visiting from out of state looking for a house, we decided to just look at some open houses. After walking into the first house, we met Ian. We talked for a bit and told him we were just looking but not ready to move yet. He then asked how long we were in town for and offered to show us any houses we were interested in. Even though those houses did not meet our needs, he made our trip much more fulfilling than expected. He offered that he’ll go look at any houses that pop up after we went back to our home state.

A few months later we contacted Ian to take a look at a house for us if he had time. Not only did he look, he did a video recording for us, which helped us determine that house did not meet our needs. After that, we decided to make another trip to see if we could find the right house. After looking at several houses in our second visit, we decided on a new build. We were very excited but also worried as we had to attend the design meeting in person but we had to go back to our home state. However, Ian immediately offered to attend the meeting on our behalf and would live stream so we could participate in real time. He even offered to keep a log for us of the building process. And doing so, we were able to notice any discrepancies in the build process and have them promptly resolved.

Buying or selling your home can be a very emotional experience, this being said Ian sold my home and helped me purchase my new home. He was knowledgeable of the market and patient with me through the whole process. He marketed my home which sold for over list price at the first showing and helped me through the closing even though I was out of town on vacation.
