Data center campus near Dell's Round Rock HQ readying for more growth
Switch has for nearly a half-decade been working on a 14-acre parcel that is the initial piece of a 1.5 million square-foot prime data center campus it calls “The Rock.” Construction there appears to be mostly finished, but it is unclear the company has yet opened the massive hub that it said will be powered with 100 percent renewable energy.
