Compal USA Technology Inc. — a wholly owned subsidiary Compal Electronics Inc. that has built computers, tablets and smartphones for companies like Apple Inc., Alphabet Inc., Dell Technologies Inc. and Toshiba Corp. — has a notable plan to expand near Austin. More details are coming out.
